Lomnický štít reaches a height of 2,634 meters above sea level, which makes it the second highest peak in the High Tatras, after Gerlachovský štít. It is part of the mountain massif of Lomnické sedlo, which is a popular destination for ascents and tourism.
From the top of Lomnické peak there is a wonderful panoramic view of the surrounding landscape, the mountain peaks of the High Tatras. One of the most visited peaks of the High Tatras - Lomnický štít - can only be reached by cable car from Skalnatý pleso or you can pay for the ascent with a professional mountain guide.
