The Seč Reservoir, located near the town of Chrudim in Eastern Bohemia, is one of the most beautiful water reservoirs in the Czech Republic.

Around Seč you will find a large number of historical and natural monuments. Beautiful views of the Seč dam are offered by the ruins of the Oheb castle, which is part of the Ohebská skála nature reserve. The ruins of Vildštejn Castle are near the dam.

The surroundings of the Seč Reservoir are also a great place for hiking, cycling, cross-country skiing, with many routes and paths that lead to wonderful viewpoints and natural monuments.

Enjoy a wonderful view of the entire dam from the dam and at the same time a breathtaking view of the deep abyss when looking at the other side. The height of the dam reaches 42 m.      The Czech Republic was established on January 1, 1993 by the division of Czechoslovakia. The official name of the state according to the constitution is the Czech Republic.
