Špičák - a mountain in Šumava with an altitude of 1202m, located near the town of Železná Ruda. Špičák is known primarily as a ski area that offers excellent conditions for skiing and snowboarding. Here, skiers will find several slopes of varying difficulty, which are suitable for both beginners and advanced skiers. For cross-country skiers, cross-country tracks are available in the beautiful Šumava environment.
In addition to winter fun, you can also visit the impressive lookout tower on Špičák. The Špičák observation tower rises to a height of 21 meters and from its top you can admire beautiful views of the surrounding Šumava countryside. The mountain Šumava town of Železná Ruda is located in the Plzeň Region on the Czech-German border. Approximately 1,600 people live here. The town located on the border of the Šumava National Park is one of the Šumava sports and tourist centers of tourism.
