     The Vysočina region lies on the border of Bohemia and Moravia. The Vysočina region is a popular tourist destination. A large number of nature trails and bike paths have been built in this area, which attract families with children on relaxing trips.

     Žďár nad Sázavou is known mainly for the pilgrimage church of St. Jan Nepomucký on Zelená hora, the work of Jan Blažej Santini Aichl, who is also registered in UNESCO.
     Among the sought-after historical monuments of the Vysočina region is especially the already mentioned church of St. Jan Nepomucký on Zelená hora in Žďár nad Sázavou, Želiv monastery, castles Pernštejn, Kámen, Roštejn, Zubštejn and Lipnice nad Sázavou, as well as castles Budišov, Jaroměřice nad Rokytnou, Náměšť nad Oslavou, Telč and Žirovnice.
